Piles & anorectal care

Piles, Fissure and Fistula Treatment in Lucknow

Problems around the anus are common, and they are also the ones people hide the longest. A little blood, a lump, burning after the toilet: it is easy to tell yourself it will pass. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it needs a doctor.

At Sayra Hospital & Piles Centre, anorectal care is where we started and what we know best. This page explains each condition and treatment in plain language, so you know what you are dealing with before you walk in.

Our Piles and Anorectal Treatments

Piles (Haemorrhoids) Treatment

Piles are swollen blood vessels in and around the anus. They may bleed, itch, hurt or form a lump, and are often linked with straining, constipation and long hours of sitting. Early piles may improve with diet, lifestyle changes and medicines; advanced cases may need a procedure. Examination determines the plan.

Laser Piles Treatment

Laser treatment is a minimally invasive option for suitable patients. It is not right for every grade of piles, and recovery differs between people. Your doctor will assess whether you are a suitable candidate.

Non-Surgical Piles Care

This may include medicines, diet and fibre changes, bowel-habit correction and, where suitable, simple procedures. It is often considered for early-stage piles, alongside changes such as avoiding straining and increasing fibre.

Ayurvedic Piles Care

Ayurvedic care may include diet, lifestyle guidance and herbal care guided by qualified practitioners. Your practitioner can explain whether it may be used on its own or alongside other care.

Fistula Treatment

A fistula is an abnormal tunnel near the anal canal that can cause repeated discharge, swelling or abscesses. The right treatment depends on its depth and complexity. Laser and Kshar-sutra may be considered where suitable after specialist assessment.

Fissure Treatment

A fissure is a small tear in the anal lining. It can cause sharp pain during or after passing stool, often with a little bright blood. Many fissures heal with softer stools, medicines and simple measures; long-standing ones may need a procedure.

Pilonidal Sinus Treatment

A pilonidal sinus is a pocket or channel under the skin near the tailbone. It can become infected, painful and recur. It needs proper assessment; the treatment method depends on the individual case.

Rectal Bleeding, Anal Pain, Itching and Constipation

These symptoms have several possible causes. Treating a symptom without finding its cause can delay appropriate care. Heavy or ongoing bleeding, or bleeding with changed bowel habits or weight loss, should be examined promptly.
